Materials: 2 balls beige worsted weight yarn
               4:50 mm hook for 15 1/2" neck size
               5:00 mm hook for larger neck size
 
Starting at neck edge, ch 46.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 45 ch.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, *hdc in each of next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc (increase made), Rep from * across row. - (60 hdc)
Row 4 to 6 inclusive: Rep Row 2.
Row 7: Rep row 3 - (80 hdc)
Row 8 to 10 inclusive: Rep row 2.
Row 11: Rep row 3, end with hdc in each of last 2 hdc - (106 hdc)
Row 12: Rep row 2. Fasten off.
For trim: Join at bottom lower edge. Sc, ch 3, sc in first st. Then... *sc in each of the next two hdc, sc,ch3,sc in the next hdc. Continue from * across row. Finish off by adding buttons on front and using the ch 2 space as buttonholes.
