                5mm crochet hook
 
Ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring. (forms buttonhole)
Row 1: 3sc in ring. (Ch 1, turn at end of ea row) *
Row 2: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in next sc, 2sc in last sc.
Row 3: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 3 sc, 2sc in next sc.
Row 4: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 5 sc, 2sc in next sc.
Row 5: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 7 sc, 2sc in next sc.
Row 6: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 9 sc, 2sc in next sc.
Row 7: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 11 sc, 2sc in next sc.
Row 8: 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 13 sc, 2sc in next sc. End off.
 
This finishes the top of one side of the slipper. Make another top side as follows: Ch 2. 3sc in 2nd ch from hook. Repeat as first side from *Row 2. Sew button onto second side at the top.
Bottom of slipper Ch 13. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hk and in ea ch across. (12 sc) Work into back stitch only of each sc... Row 2-34: Sc in each sc across. Repeat instructions for other side.
Assembly Sew long sides of bottom sections evenly to top sections. Sew two bottom pieces together at front,across bottom and back.
