Materials:
- 2 x 50 grams red worsted weight yarn
- 1 x 50 grams white
- 3.50 mm crochet hook
Slipper Pattern
Make 3 small granny squares as follows:
With red...Ch 6. Join to form a circle.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in ring,(ch 3 in ring,ch 3) 3 times; then join.
Rnd 2: Ch 3,1 dc in each of next 2 dc, *(2 dc in next ch 3 sp,
ch 3, 2dc in same ch 3 sp, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc).
Continue around from * ending with the 2 dc,ch 3,
2 dc in last space. Join.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc.
*(2 dc in next ch 3 space,ch 3,2dc in same ch 3 space,
1 dc in each of next 7 dc). Continue around
from * ending with 2 dc,ch 3,2dc in last ch3 space,
1 dc in each of last 2dc. Join.
Rnd 4: Ch 2, 2 dc between each dc of previous rnd. Join.
Large granny square for bottom of slipper:
Begin by repeating to and including rnd 3 as for small
granny square.
4th to 6th rnds: continue in pattern as previous rnds
with 1 dc in each dc; (2dc,ch3,2dc) in each ch 3 space.
To put together: Take large granny & fold to meet at point E
- take one small granny square, attach with sc to large
one from point A to B to C
- Take another small granny
& attach to large granny from C to E to A
- Take another small granny
& attach to large granny from E to F to G to H
